Plans and limits
What each plan includes and exactly how limits behave when you reach one.
One subscription covers your whole account, including every brand in it. Limits are shared across brands rather than applying to each.

How limits behave
Reaching a limit blocks the action and tells you which plan covers it. Nectazo never bills you for overage you did not choose, and never deletes anything for being over a limit.
- Contacts — counted across every brand, but only the ones you can actually email: subscribed contacts, plus any awaiting double opt-in confirmation. Unsubscribed, bounced, complained and cleaned contacts are kept and cost nothing, so there is never a reason to delete your own unsubscribe record to save room. Adding a contact past the cap is refused; existing contacts are untouched. This includes signups from your public forms, which is why we email you about this one.
- Emails — counted per calendar month across campaigns, automations and transactional mail. Resets on the 1st.
- Brands — how many workspaces you can create.
- Automations — how many can exist at once. Paused ones still occupy a slot.
- Landing pages — how many can exist at once, counted across every brand. A draft occupies a slot, since it can be published at any moment. See Landing pages.
- AI tokens — one allowance for everything AI does, counted per calendar month. A text generation costs 1 token, a Standard image 5, a High image 20 — an image genuinely costs far more to produce than a sentence. Only successful generations are charged. See Images and AI generation.
Topping up before the 1st
Running out of tokens mid-month does not have to mean waiting or upgrading. Settings → Billing sells one-off packs of them, added to your account as soon as the payment completes.
Top-ups buy the same tokens your plan grants — there is no second currency to keep track of. What each action costs:
| Action | Tokens |
|---|---|
| Any text generation — a subject line, a block rewrite, a whole email | 1 |
| An image at Standard quality | 5 |
| An image at High quality | 20 |
- Your included monthly allowance is always spent first. A top-up is only drawn on once the month's allowance is gone, so topping up never means paying for what the plan already covered.
- Topped-up tokens do not expire. They are not part of the monthly reset and carry over indefinitely.
- An action can be paid for partly by each — with three tokens left on the plan, a five-token image takes two from your top-up. Nothing goes to waste.
- Contacts, emails, brands and automations cannot be topped up. Those are what the plan tiers are for.
What is left sits at the bottom of the sidebar on every page, and turns amber when it gets low. Settings → Billing has the full breakdown, and the AI panels say what an action will cost and what remains before you press the button — so running out is not something you find out by being refused.
A send is checked before it starts
Nectazo counts the audience and confirms your allowance covers all of it before a campaign leaves draft. If it does not, nothing is sent — far better than discovering the limit with half the list mailed.
Transactional email is counted but never blocked
It contributes to your monthly total, but a plan limit will never stop a password reset from going out.
You will be told before you hit one
Running out should never be something you discover from a customer. Nectazo emails the account owner at 80% of the contact and email limits, and again when either is reached — at most once each per month, because a limit you have not dealt with yet is still true tomorrow and daily mail about it would just teach you to ignore us.
There is one notice that is not on that schedule. If a public signup form turns somebody away because the account is full, the owner is emailed the moment it happens. That case is different in kind: every other limit refuses something you are doing and can see fail, while this one refuses a stranger and leaves you nothing to notice.
The same warning appears as a bar across the top of the app, and it disappears as soon as you change plan.
Seeing where you stand
Contacts and tokens sit at the bottom of the sidebar on every page, and turn amber when they get low. Plan & billing, from the workspace switcher, shows current usage against every limit. See Billing to change plan.
