Custom tracking domain

Showing your own domain on tracked links instead of ours.

By default, tracked links in your email point at a Nectazo domain before redirecting to the destination. A custom tracking domain makes them point at a subdomain of yours instead, so recipients see your brand when they hover a link.

Setting it up

  1. 1Pick a subdomain you are not otherwise using, such as click.yourdomain.com.
  2. 2Enter it under Settings → Domains → Click tracking domain.
  3. 3Add the CNAME record Nectazo shows you at your DNS provider.
  4. 4Let Nectazo verify it.

Until it verifies, links keep using the shared platform domain — nothing breaks while you are waiting.

Is it worth doing

  • It looks more professional and slightly improves click-through, because the destination looks like you.
  • It isolates your link reputation from other senders on the shared domain.
  • It is entirely optional. Sending works perfectly well without it.

Available on the Pro plan. See Plans and limits.
